Pathways

Pathways for walking and cycling are proposed to connect homes to the river’s edge, where planning for an approximate 2.5km* walkway is to be delivered and provide the wider community with links to beauty spots along the river, stretching from Deepwater Park to Vale of Ah Reserve.

The Green

The Green is proposed to include a swimming pool, tennis court, barbecue facility and playground. 3,900m2* of facilities for the exclusive use of Riverlands by Mirvac residents, designed to provide integration and encourage interaction, through friendly urban design.

Green open space

Green open space will be in abundance at Riverlands by Mirvac. A proposed 6.27HA* of green open space will include public foreshore land accessible to members of the public, community facilities, a protected vegetation area and kickabout space.

Redevelopment of the Georges River

The development of Riverlands by Mirvac may offer a range of benefits for the wider community and assist in the regeneration of the natural landscape. Our aim is to enhance the natural ecosystem, encourage biodiversity and preserve a habitat for plant-life and animals.

The foreshore shared path is proposed to enable public access to the Georges River where an approximate 20-metre wide corridor of new plantings will restore the biodiversity of the site, encourage native fauna and flora.

An estimated 2.5km* pathway is proposed to provide a link from Deepwater Reserve all the way to Vale of Ah Reserve and will include new access points for launching kayaks. More than 150,000 new plants and shrubs will be planted along the river walk and streets, a beautiful natural way to keep homes and streetscapes cooler.
