Restoring the landscape
The development of Riverlands by Mirvac in Milperra will bring a range of benefits for the wider community of south-west Sydney and assist in the regeneration of the natural landscape.
The proposed foreshore is designed to enable public access to the Georges River where an approximate 20-metre wide corridor of new plantings will restore the biodiversity of the site, encouraging native fauna and flora.
An estimated 2.5km path is proposed to provide a link from Deepwater Reserve all the way to Vale of Ah Reserve, with new access points for launching kayaks.
More than 150,000 new plants and shrubs will be planted along the river walk and streets, a beautiful natural way to keep our Mirvac homes and streetscapes cooler.
